Peer Review Process

International Journal for Research in Applied and Natural Science (IJRANS) strives to maintain the highest levels of academic excellence using a peer review process that is fair, unbiased, and transparent. All manuscripts submitted to IJRANS undergo a rigorous review to guarantee originality, significance, and validity.

At IJRANS, double-blind peer review is practiced, whereby the author and reviewer do not know each other's identity during the reviewing process. This helps to ensure that the review process is unbiased and free from prejudice.

Each manuscript goes through the initial screening process to test its relevance to the scope of the journal as well as to the requirements of the submission process. Afterward, each accepted article is allocated to an expert in the field.

Objectives of Peer Review

The peer-review process aims to:

  • Maintain high academic standards.
  • Promote research integrity and publication ethics.
  • Evaluate the originality and significance of the research.
  • Improve the quality and clarity of manuscripts.
  • Provide constructive feedback to authors.

Review Criteria

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on:

  • Originality and novelty of the research.
  • Relevance to the journal's aims and scope.
  • Quality of literature review and critical analysis.
  • Clarity and strength of arguments.
  • Appropriateness of the research methodology.

Editorial Decisions

After considering the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor may make one of the following decisions:

  • Accept without revision.
  • Accept with minor revisions.
  • Revise and resubmit after major revisions.
  • Reject the manuscript.

Authors who receive revisions should carefully consider all the comments of the reviewers and submit the revised copy within the designated time.

The final decision for publication is determined by the scholarly value of the paper, its originality, relevance, and the comments given by external reviewers.

In the review process, the journal always follows the principles of confidentiality, fairness, editorial independence, openness, and scholarly excellence.
